The first time I got to work Panda she was over 1 year and I could not see her head for she was laying on the ground heeling the goats she was working. She had a strong eye and a fantastic heel bite but she would take on both ends. She stood happily in the pocket and could hold sheep up in a corner all day if she mistakenly escaped into the sheep yard on her own.
She had one amazing litter for us to earn her the Hall of Fame Excellent in Canada and HOF in ASCA. 11 pups; 3 Canadian Champions, three WTCH, Two Herding Excellent, 2 Supreme Versatility, 2 Performance Champions, Tracking Dog and Urban Tracking Dog Ch, and many others CD, CDX and Rally Excellent titles in her offspring.
Panda was very sweet and affectionate; she was also a bit quirky but was intensely in tune with her surroundings.
Her kids became finals competitors and more than once Top Herding dog in Canada – (Tiger 2004, 2008 & 2012). She was in love with Ben – my youngest son and will be forever in our hearts and our lines.
