Robby's Temperament & Working Style

Robby was such a remarkable dog. He was under exhibited but his talents were extraordinary. I kept two of the Panda x Tucker pups of the 11 that were all amazing including Tucker Creek’s Ballad of Sally Rose owned and loved by Jeni Gallichan at Mikatura. There are so many wonderful dogs I meet today with this parentage/lineage and I am thrilled to see the type and style of grit and herding finesse this litter offered.

Stay in the pocket, great heel bite and an equal sense of round and balance. As a homebody, Robby was affectionate and gooey. He was loving and wanted to please like a few dogs I’ve met before. He was excellent in agility herding obedience and Rally – Getting a championship in both ASCA and CKC was easier than most for us completing both in less than three weekends of shows with the wonderful competition. I love this lad and all he continued to offer into his old age. His few litters have produced several ASCA and CKC Champions and many WTCH and at least three Stockdog Finalist. A Deserving Hall of Fame Sire.

Since we just didn’t have access to taking a lot of videos when the dogs were younger, but here’s a less than great video I took of him on cattle at almost 12. Love those stay in the pocket dogs. I have frozen semen from Robby and will most certainly plan to use it someday.
